The Heart of Home – Building a Family Culture Through Everyday RitualsThe Heart of Home is a design idea for modern Vietnamese families living with many generations under one roof. Today, family members may stay in the same house, but busy schedules and technology make it harder for them to spend real time together. This project creates a home that encourages family connection through simple daily habits. The main space is the Family Garden Hub, a shared garden in the center of the house where people can sit, talk, rest, take care of plants, or spend time together after a long day. Small rituals such as putting phones away, cooking together, sharing stories, watching movies, and keeping family memories help the house become warmer and more meaningful. Through these everyday moments, the home becomes not only a place to live, but also a place to build family culture.
