HOMEBASE – WRITTEN SOLUTIONIn modern society, many Vietnamese families continue to live in multi-generational households. However, busy lifestyles, demanding work schedules, and increasing dependence on technology have reduced opportunities for meaningful family interaction. Grandparents require greater care and companionship, parents must balance work and family responsibilities, while children spend more time on study and digital devices. Although family members live under the same roof, emotional connections and daily interactions are becoming less frequent.To address this challenge, our team developed HomeBase, a Family Living Operating System powered by Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. HomeBase goes beyond traditional smart home applications by combining home management, family care, and relationship-building features within a single platform. It is designed not only to simplify daily living but also to strengthen family bonds and encourage meaningful interactions.The project is built on a key insight: families do not lack love and care for one another; they often lack the time, tools, and opportunities to express that care. Based on this insight, three major challenges were identified: limited family interaction due to busy schedules, communication barriers caused by generational differences, and the lack of a centralized system to manage family life and support family connections.HomeBase targets multi-generational families living in urban apartments and modern residential communities who seek greater convenience, improved family care, and stronger relationships through technology.To solve these challenges, HomeBase introduces five core features.The first feature, Family Hub, serves as the central management platform for the
